Yellow clips are special-purpose clips: they hold two pieces of standard taper glassware together. (See the distillation set-up.) They are made of plastic and will melt if they get too hot, and they break easily without any provocation.
Location: Student drawer equipment.
Cost: $3.25, although the stockroom usually replaces them for free.
