when you have them all in there, and want to save it choose either scanned or photo quality , i think photo is better... and not much size difference, also around 300 dpi is good for quality

Install this, if you just want a browser plugin viewer...

work'n with djvu, is there anyway. to add many jpeg at a time and not just one at a time? or a zip.
plus, my order seems to get mess'd up after add'n 10plus jpegs mannuly .
should i convert every jpeg to a djvu and then can all be add'd as one file?
Much thanks

are you willing to be a conspirator in the pirated software trade? Editor 4.1 Pro is outdated but available. but then, adobe products are even more available.

PS:
things like emule (currently 75 sources sharing this file) should be used while you can.

after creating e-books from bmp and tif scans with both, i personally prefer pdf to djvu. the compression can be made just about as good and the OCR better. maybe the newer lizardtech products are better than 4.1.

This page http://www.planetdjvu.com/making_multipage_djvu_in_solo_3_1_editor_4_0.htm discusses using TIFF images to make the djvu files. Kodak Imaging works good for making TIFF images, but isn't included in Windows XP, but is included in Windows 2000. If you have a Windows 2000 CD you can install Kodak Imaging into Windows XP from this CD using a batch file like this assuming your CDROM is drive d:

----------------------------

Listing A: ImagingInstall.bat

d:
cd \i386
expand IMGADMIN.OC_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGADMIN.OCX
expand IMGCMN.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGCMN.DLL
expand IMGEDIT.OC_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGEDIT.OCX
expand IMGSCAN.OC_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGSCAN.OCX
expand IMGSHL.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGSHL.DLL
expand IMGTHUMB.OC_ c:\Windows\System32\IMGTHUMB.OCX
expand JPEG1X32.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\JPEG1X32.DLL
expand JPEG2X32.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\JPEG2X32.DLL
expand OIENG400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OIENG400.DLL
expand OIPRT400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OIPRT400.DLL
expand OISLB400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OISLB400.DLL
expand OISSQ400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OISSQ400.DLL
expand OITWA400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OITWA400.DLL
expand OIUI400.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\OIUI400.DLL
expand TIFFLT.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\TIFFLT.DLL
expand XIFFR3_0.DL_ c:\Windows\System32\XIFFR3_0.DLL
expand IMGHELP.HL_ c:\Windows\Help\IMGHELP.HLP
expand IMGMGT.CH_ c:\Windows\Help\IMGMGT.CHM
expand IMGMGT.HL_ c:\Windows\Help\IMGMGT.HLP
expand IMGTASKS.CH_ c:\Windows\Help\IMGTASKS.CHM
expand IMGVIEW.CH_ c:\Windows\Help\IMGVIEW.CHM
expand KODAKIMG.EX_ c:\Windows\KODAKIMG.EXE
expand KODAKPRV.EX_ c:\Windows\KODAKPRV.EXE
c:

regsvr32 IMGEDIT.OCX

But Lief, that is Windows XP, and as a religious conservative, you will know just how evil that is, surely?

Statecraft
Strategies for a Changing World

By Margaret Thatcher

2) Doing what is right usually requires the will to do what is difficult.

In an effort to rebuild his war machine, Saddam Hussein has spent billions of dollars earmarked to buy food. The result: mass starvation among ordinary Iraqis, despite the generous oil-for-food allowances granted under U.N sanctions. The right solution - forcibly ending Hussein's brutal rule - is crystal clear.

Thatcher recognizes that while the solution is clear, many liberal leaders lack the will needed for such a strong step. Saddam has gambled on their weakness too, and so far he has made the right bet. Many world leaders have allowed their sympathy for the Iraqi people, or their greed for cheap Iraqi oil, to deter them from taking forceful action against Iraq's dictator. Thatcher condemns this dangerous compromise. Because of it Saddam has had four years free of U.N. weapons inspectors, and the Iraqi people are still poor and oppressed.

By reminding the reader of Hussein and the need to be rid of him, Thatcher emphasizes that military force must remain a tool of statecraft. All too often, leaders have avoided problems posed by the Husseins and bin Ladens of the world because half-measures offer an easy way out. Military might is useless without the will to use it, and America's leaders should never hesitate to eliminate those who threaten us. This is not to say that might makes right. It just means that we must be confident enough in our convictions to realize that right often requires might.

Lief, my visit to Aspen was purely to see my old friend Hunter. Hunter was worried about the carburretor settings of his Triumph and I promised him that I could sort something out. Yes, Bush was hanging about, but that is what he does. Besides, Hunter would have shot him on sight.
