Reducing Methylone -> MDMA

I know for all intense and purpose this is a very inefficient way towards MDMA but would anyone be able to advise whether methylone would be easily reduced to MDMA?

For example would the "Uncle Festers Electrolytic hydrogenation" method work the same?
