Reduction of MDP-2nP

Is there a better way to reduce 3,4-MDP-2-nitropropene, to MDA or better yet MDMA other than LiAL4? Or is conversion to MDP-2-P the way to go if I want MDMA as the final product?

MDP2P is the way to go for mdma.
there are many ways to reduce MDP2NP to mda, the more popular might be NaBH4 reduction to the nitroethane, which can either be hydrogenated, reduced using Zn/ AmmFormate, or Al/Hg.
