i think clean RP smells like rotten feet, and finished reaction smells a little sweet but still nausiating..

You'll know it after lots of pratice.  But really it's not the smell SWIM looks for for signs of completion.  It's more of what it looks like.

I think the final mixture smells like a fresh field of clovers. Smells quite nice actually

unequivocably, candilicious. when trying to judge completeness through smell, don't deceive thyself. at least with RP/I, it is unmistakable. With h2po2/I it's a bit more complicated, but with each, the basing of the rxn fluid smells like cat piss, also quite different than if one had an incomplete rxn.

Swim cannot think of what it smells like.
The color is a very drab purple and the
consistancy when you swirl it is almost like
a thin mercury in that little specks on side
of flask attach themselves to the mass.

That post Rxn smell right after the H2O is added and heated is was a strangely familiar oder the very first time I smelled it. It was like I knew it was a dope related smell yet I couln't place were I could have encountered it before. I have had several others smell the strangely familiar oder (p2p) and they experienced the same phenomena with a big grin across there grill...Strange shit ain't it?
