While acidifying the NP solvent/honey water mixture ribbons(that remain solid and suspended in the water layer) formed. What are they? And should I removed them from the final distallation?

Thanks,

These are ribbons of crap, they result from some polyme rs being salted out, and they should be filtered out. Whether they have meth entrapped is any one's guess, but I suspect it is mainly polymers.

In the future I'll filter them out. Maybe it will increase my yield somewhat.
