Make sure to use sufficient water in the rxn and bring the temperature up gradually or the pseudo can get burned up, killing yields in the process.

Freebase rxns react hotter and faster from Swim's experience. SwiY might want to start the rxn in an ice bath and only use heat when it becomes absolutely necessary!
