Is it reasonable to think the propabilty of harming one's self in the lab is greatly increased when they do not know what NaCl is. Imagine the possibilties of ether in these skilled hands. I may know a social science grad that can tell table salt from pepper!

AS long as that NaCl doesnt come in contact with any   DiHydrogenOxide, they'll be safe.
