Yes, swim was working on MDMA from MDP-2-P from safrole. So, basically, the entire process.

I found a post that said the two could be interchanged, as long as they were just being used as a solvent.

Swim was hoping that one of the hive masters could clear this up. Thanks.

Yes, you can use ethanol instead in those reactions. You might not want to use denaturated alochol for this, as the denaturation compounds might interact with you reaction somehow... But 190 proof alcohol(95%) should be fine!
