help...pvc in the goodies...

A very stupid friend of mine left his basic aquous solution + DCM sit overnight (for DMT extraction)in a container that had a pvc stoper in the botton.
When he checked the material in the next morning part of the pvc lid had melted into the DCM.
He's very concearned about loosing all his material.
Does anyone knows if its possible to filter or separate the pvc from the DCM >>>

do an acid base extraction, poly vinyl chloride will not go into the aqueous layer

on a related note my lil sister left a batch of honey with some residual toluene in it to evaporate and accidentally left a plastic knife in contact and the knife melted into the honey making some honey/crap complex that no effort was able to remedy.

Why not redissolve the plastic/mdma in toluene and pull it out into an acidic aqueous layer? Should be easy.

My friend told me he is going for a new ab extraction to get rid of the pvc.
