From what i know to copy a site one has to turn off all anti bot measures and open members only sections cos the copy program is the pretty much the same as a bot / crawler .

My friend said ,

"I put this together from a hyperlab copy from bit torrent wich i repaired . Its made up of htmls . A few of the fotos in it are in russian and so are two paragraphs in the htmls . The russian translation isnt fantastic as the chemical names are in russian but writen with english letters . Its part of my Ark" .

Backing up sites is a bit of a hobby of mine, HTTPtrack is a whore at times though. Perhaps we could all just manually save 20 threads a piece and then pool them all?

Well.. "when I get to it" I can just take a copy of this forum, up it on an old computer/server of mine than convert it all into html... or something like that.

It would be a pain but I'll try to do it sometime. I'm busy though, and mentally can only deal with one of those projects every so often..

Can't even keep up with reading this forum anymore.. 20,000 posts in total, and yesterday had around 75? sheesh
