Check your Firefox Plugins here, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ to ensure you're up-to-date with plugin security.

Check your FingerPrints, SHA1 & MD5 to ensure no man-in-the-middle, OR, man-in-your-browser attack.

What fingerprints does your browser leave behind as you surf the web?

What fingerprints does your browser leave behind as you surf the web?

Our new website Panopticlick (https://panopticlick.eff.org/) will anonymously log the configuration and version information from your operating system, your browser, and your plug-ins, and compare it to our database of five million other configurations. Then, it will give you a uniqueness score — letting you see how easily identifiable you might be as you surf the web.

Those services could easily be honeypots for collecting information... PGP encryption is safe on a non-internet connected machine, in theory.
off to bigger and better things - don't worry I will visit from time to time

Yes, I'd PGP encrypt then use those services.

Yes, it's safe.

Never install PGP on a desktop/laptop that you use to surf the Internet, ESPECIALLY when you're logged into your administrator account.

Having  PGP encryption on a non-internet connected machine, will protect you from compromise for the following reasons...

(1) PGP keys can't be stolen. Save your PGP keys on a thumb drive, NOT the hard drive.
(2) PGP software can't be compromised with man-in-the-middle spyware.
(3) Encrypting text in the PGP crypt-text format, and then saving on a thumb drive, to send over the Internet via a internet connected machine - WILL ENSURE absolute encryption at all times.

It's been tested by others:

and there are many other court cases over this rather effective encryption tool  8)

Note: Please be aware that NirLauncher includes several password recovery tools that are considered "hacking tools" by some anti-virus products.

ANTI-KEYLOGGER TESTER

YOUR ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM WILL MOST LIKELY WARN YOU AS SOON AS YOU RUN AKLT.exe (Anti-Keylogger Tester)

AKLT uses the same techniques to capture keystrokes that are employed by many legit (as well as malicious) apps. As a result, your anti-virus program will probably go crazy once you run AKLT.

This is normal and should be expected. Many anti-virus programs don't know that AKLT uses these keylogging techniques for testing purposes only.

Description: Does your security software claim to prevent keyloggers from stealing your passwords? Anti-Keylogger Tester (AKLT) enables you to test the effectiveness of anti-keylogger software products by simulating 7 different keystroke capture techniques as well as desktop captures. If your anti-keylogger software works as advertised, AKLT should not be able to log any of your keystrokes while your keylogger protection is active. Otherwise it will inform you and display the captured keystrokes.

To makes sure that AKLT is only used by advanced users, we have compressed the file into a 7z archive and password protected it. If you don't know how to open this type of file and how to figure out the password, you should not be using this.
