comes in thin white tablets 60mg or more, 100 tabs or more to a bottle. At
pharmacies, Indian smoke shops, HEAD SHOPS, convenience stores, super markets.
vitamin stores. Walk into a head shop and ask for "ephedrine", they will take
care of the rest. When asked, what kind? Simply reply "What is the most popular
brand?" Get the brand that is currently sold most often.

spend about $2-$4 / gram - Meth sells for $60 /gram
One Cook I know loads up
a pile of people in his van, drives them around to pick up pills, iodine, and
RP. All in one day. There are restrictions on amount of E you may purchase a
day, I don't know the exact amount,
but 4 bottles of 100 - 60 mg/tablet is
about all you will be sold at a shift/store/day.
That is (4 x 100 x 60)

Evaporating is safest with Corning Visionware, Visionware will
not break when heated or chilled. Corning also makes Pyrex . not all pyrex is
heat resistant . If you are not using Visionware you have a 90% chance that a
bowl will shatter under the heat(very dangerous)
To evaporate volatile
rapidly use a fan to blow air around flammable fuels to disperse the fumes and
prevent fire.

Briefly how it goes,

____filter, save the

___ evaporate the filtrate until completely dry
4.
Distilled water,
____dissolve the methanol or denatured evaporate in
water
____filter cold( put distilled water ice cubes in the filter),
____evaporate the liquid filtrate until completely dry.
Be very careful
when getting to the end of drying cycle, you do not want the ephedrine to over
heat at all and burn to a dark brown. if a little HCl acid is added to the water
it will help prevent the ephedrine from evaporating away with the water

Explanation
The ephedrine is washed and filtered with acetone to
remove red dye, and microcrystaline cellulose, ephedrine is insoluble in acetone
so save the solids, discard the filtered acetone. In the acetone wash fluid you
may see little fibers in the wash, soon they look spider like, eventually
becoming a slime
Next the "dry" solids are soaked again this time in
Methanol or denatured alcohol, Filter, discard the stuff in the filter.
Ephedrine is soluble in methanol, so evaporate the methanol/ephedrine
solution(save this). be sure to evaporate until "dry".
****Caution when
evaporating volatile, use the fan to blow vapors away from heat source
The
"dry" remains from the evaporated Methanol or denatured is dissolved in
distilled water, chill the water/ephedrine solution, then cold filter with ice
cubes(distilled) in the filter, Discard the waxy solids in the filter. Ephedrine
is water soluble, so evaporate the water add a little HCl first . What is left
after evaporating the water is almost pure crystal E.
The reason each step
must be "completely dried" before proceeding, is not always obvious.
Un-evaporated solvent, will ruin the selectivity of the next solvent.
Let
mixtures settle, decant(pour off) only the supernatant(top liquid) into the
filter, leaving the solids in the container, otherwise you will plug the filter
with sediments, or cause a clouding in a filtered solution.
If a solution
is cloudy after filtering,it must be refiltered, clean the funnel, add one more
new cotton ball, compress the cotton balls together harder, use new filters ,
Re-filter until solution is perfectly clear.
Cloudy solutions are not cleanly
filtered.
Colors in a solution are OK and often will not filter out.
If
unsure at any step about where exactly the ephedrine is? do a taste test
bitterness is ephedrine, not bitter is not ephedrine
There that was fairly easy
Calculate the percentage you recovered. if
you had 4 bottles of 100 tablets , 60mg
4 x 100 x 60 =24000mg or 24
grams
if you recovered 20 grams of Ephedrine
then 20 / 24 x 100% =
83%
70% is not very good
90% is super
110% and you collected a
bunch of trash along with the Ephedrine
