						d-Methamphetamine is 170-175 oC at ~95% purity. At 98% purity melting point is 174-175 oC. Mixtures of the d & l isomers have different melting points to a single pure isomer. C6H5CH2CH(NH2CH3)CH3Cl : Phenylisopropylmethylamine hydrochloride salt (dl), melting point between 131-135 degC, plate-shaped crystals. C6H5CH2CH(NH2CH3)CH3ClHgCl2 : Phenylisopropylmethylamine hydrochloride mercuric salt (dl), melting point between 128-130 degC, flat needle crystals. C6H5CH2CH(NH2CH3)CH3ClAuCl3 : Phenylisopropylmethylamine hydrochloride aurate salt (dl), melting point between 108-109 degC, flat needle crystals.
