Evangelion:
Kick-ass giant robots, cute girls, lots of death and destruction, whacked-out story lines, what's not to love?

Kite:
Young girl is adopted by crooked cop who killed her parents. Turned into his personal fuck toy and hit-bitch. Kills cop in the end, after killing several other cops, chesters, and assorted innocent bystanders in between. 2 thumbs up!

Battle Angel:
Cyborg girl (cutey http://assaultweb.net/ubb/icons/icon25.gif ) falls for average joe criminal who steals peoples spines. OUCH! He want's to go to the city in the clouds so badly, that she takes up bounty hunting other criminals (she doesn't know what he does) to help him by his way in.

Later, when she finds out what he's doing, she doesn't care because she loves him anyways. Sniff...sniff...a tale of loving a killer. Sniff...makes me feel something...don't know what.

Gundam Wing:
Ehhh....Ok....be much better if they showed more killing and gore. As it is, too soft. Cool robots, but too much of the mid-air robot acrobatics crap.

But Lady un....drool...total hottie! Cutey with a heart of pure evil. When she puts those glasses on....she's an NBK wet dream. Marry Me!

Project A-Ko and sequel:
Funny as hell. Don't ask me the plot because it's too weird. But it had me laughing till I cried.

Golgo-13:
Stone cold killer. The epitome of an NBK. Snuffs his friends, family, bitches, doesn't matter. You cross him, you die.

Animation is a little rough, but the stories make up for it. Think James Bond mixed with Terminator. YEAH!

Agent Aika:
The "Panty" movie! More panty shots and hentai than pretty much any other anime out there. Funny shit too. Perfect Blue:
Idol signer fallen on hard times suffering nervous breakdown, being stalked by psycho fan, selling her ass, hideously bloody killings, rape, insanity....twisted! Me likes!

Ghost in the Shell:
Hot Cyborg chick (unfortunately the her being a cop thing ruined her for me) hunts down the "Puppet Master", a master hacker wreaking death and destruction.

Lots of cool techno-bable and weapons, killing-a-plenty, trippy story, bitching graphics, and haunting music.

I bought the DVD I liked it so much.

Macross Plus:
Awesome transforming robots, wayy cool battle scenes, but rather silly story line. Still, the visuals are bitchin. No real gore, little killing. Bummer.

Various other TV series like Outlaw Star (cat girl is especially funny), Tenchi Muyo (funny shit, should have had more hentai), Macross Mospedia (interesting story, OK visuals for the 80's).

Pinky and the Brain:
A little comic relief. Poor brain...stuck with a total idiot as his only companion. If only he'd kill the incompetent moron, then he could take over the world. Some of these have made me cry from laughing so hard.

Any cartoon made in america basically. They all suffer from "Good guy wins in the end" syndrome. When we know, in historical fact, that evil triumphs most often. Goodness just fights a holding action...

The Professional had a rather oversexed child/adult dynamic going on, other than that I really liked it.

There was a movie with charles bronson and jan micheal vincent in the late 70's-early 80's that was really good. CB was a hitman doing one last hit, and JMV was his "trainee". Very good, no long, drawn out, slow-motion, full-auto, etc gun play and explosions crap like todays movies.

In the end, JMV poisoned CB by coating his wine glass with brucine. But when JMV got back to CB place to take the car he'd been lusting after, the doors locked, a tape started playing, and it was CBs voice saying "Since your hearing this, I obviously didn't make it back. NO, I haven't looked for Une hentai, but now that you mention it, I might as well. As for "wet dream" I meant in the way that she's sexy (for a cartoon), smart, loyal, and evil as hell.

I've noticed in myself that I really like stories with characters showing loyality unto death and noble self-sacrifice for the good of their own. Which probably explains why I like anime.

Japanese have that whole bushido code down pat. Wouldn't you rather have a couple of samurai instead of gangster thugs at your command?

Otakus of the forum rise again : )

Noir: Among the fansubbed shows of the last months this one is top. A mysterious story about two young female contract killers who stumble into a net of deceit and conspiracy, great animation quality, great soundtrack, it rules!

Excel Saga: High speed action anime parody. The story centers around the attempts of the secret organisation Across's attempts to take over F-city in F-land as their first step to world domination. But the main purpose of the show is to parodize each and every anime and anime genre ever made. The heroine dies at least five times during the first episode, has a little puppy which she labels her emergency ratio and is named after a hotel chain. It's futile to really describe it but it's the funniest anime I ever watched.

FLCL: Made by the same folks who made Evangelion, this one is rather disturbing,too but a lot more funny. The main character is a boy who one day gets hit on the head with a guitar by a strange woman on a vespa who's from outer space. Later the woman moves into his place and a big robot grows out of his head. All this has to do with the huge steaming iron shaped factory in his town. Very strange, very funny.

Princess Mononoke: One of the most beautiful animes ever made, great story, great animation, soooo beautiful. Whole story is rather complex and hard to describe but it's staged in medieval Japan. Has some gore but also romance and drama. Brilliant.

Serial Experiments Lain: A little girl starts exploring "the wired" a kind of super internet after she starts receiving emails from a classmate who recently commited suicide. After a short while she starts to dive deeper and deeper into the net and meets another version of herself and a being who claims to be the god of the wired among others. Strange disturbing but also fascinating cyber thriller.

Invader Zim: American animation can be cool, too. While it's not as gory as his previous work "Johnny, the homicidal maniac" this show by Jhonen Vasquez is not your average kids cartoon. Alien boy Zim tries to prepare the world for invasion but at the same time has to cope with school problems, a classmate who tries to prove to everybody that he's an alien invader, other invaders disguised as babies, his stupid robot "helper" and life in general. Very funny and the cynic teacher is great.

And Maxx from MTVs oddities also rules. F.A.K.K.2 was nice, either. Death to all carbon based life! There is some decent stuff, just not in the mainstream.

My favorite is probably Darkside Blues. Strange plot, wierd undertone, and interesting characters. Evangelion was great until the last two episodes when they made it WAY too complicated to follow. I watched it with my daughter and it pissed us both off. Serial Experiment Lain was a great one as well and we had a great time discussing nuances and true meanings. Definitely deep. If you want another good one, check out "Shadow Skills". Good looking babe who kills large monsters (or anyone else who pisses her off) with one punch. Likes to drink and get into bar fights. You can always spot great anime by how well the tits are drawn. The true masters can reproduce a realistic "titty jiggle" which makes your tongue drag.Also good are-
Gunsmith Cats- Female Gunsmiths/bounty hunters against former KGB assassins and crooked ATF agents. Whats there not to like?

Mon Colle Knights- My daughter watches this and I have developed a liking for it. Strange and funny dialogue, not your ordinary saturday morning fare. Whoever writes the english scripts is pretty good. I'd like to see what the original japanese dialogue was to see if it was as funny. Well, all I can think of.

Thankfully, we don't get much Japanese stuff in the UK. Not that I watch it anyway. I mainly stick to the quality (not aimed at 12 year olds) stuff, the likes of which is only available on video (they never show anything good on TV).

I must admit, NBK, Batman was pretty good until they made that stupid 60's TV series and made him look like a poof. Someone ought to be held responsible for that, I reckon.

I've never seen the comics prior to then so I don't know what he was like. But I know in some of the graphic novels, he's a BAD muthafuker!

Like in one, he had a pair of .45s instead of that silly boomerang thing. The bad guys would try shooting him (the big yellow symbol plate on his chest was titanium armor, used because it presented a natural target to aim at) and he'd rip them open with his guns, spraying brains and guts everywhere.

Or, the "batgas" he used to put the bad guys to sleep in the TV cartoon.....uh uh. In the novel it was a military psychoactive agent like BZ that drove the victims insane before they'd die. Not nice.

Yes, titty jiggle is the true mark of a master anime artist. So is the "eye glistening with lust" look.

One movie that I was HIGHLY disappointed in was "Battle of the Bionoids" which is a macross movie. The animation was jerky (though well drawn) and the dubbing....OH GOD THE MEMORIES! MAKE IT STOP, THE PAIN!!

In japan, children under the age of 13 (in britan too I believe) are considered incapable of criminal actions (legally) and so can't be charged for any crime...rape, murder, arson, whatever.

All the more reason to use children as tools of war against the police. Have them go out to destroy the cameras, plant the bombs, and snipe the pork.

They're malleable, quick learners, have no inate morality, small and easy to hide, and disposable. A little special jim jones Kool-Aid before their mission and no worries about ratting.

Every major city has a "rug-rat" population to recruit from.

It also helps to instill fear in the populace that any child they see could be a potential "terrorist".

I tried my hand at drawing some dojinshi hentai.

55KB .jpg of VideoGirl Ai. I cheated and took the head of a "clean" picture, colored it in (it was B&W) and drew everything else myself in photoshop.
