How to get Bin Laden

The Government had a telephone line for ideas on how to fight the war, but it is no longer up, or I just can't find it. I feel quite sure that some agency is listening in, so I will post the idea here and hope that it will get to someone to evaluate it. This seams to be obvious, but it may have been overlooked or not feasible,so here goes; To safely and effectively clear out the tunnel complexes a large powerful fan must be prepared. About 80-100 horse power would do(engine from a VW golf?). The prop. should be enclosed in a fairly strong duct maybe 10 feet long. Around the duct would be tire shaped tubes(4or5) made from the stuff they make inflatable dingys out of (Hypolon). This rig should be made chopper transportable and sized to fit the cave or tunnel(have several sizes available).After the area is secured and and an effective force is available to shoot the rats as the leave their hole, This blower is inserted into the mouth of the tunnel and inflated to a high pressure to hold it in place and seal the mouth of the cave. At this point the propane tanks are hooked up to the duct.Tanks are to be bottom tapped, so liquid propane is injected. The volume of gas is up to the user. I suggest 500-1000 gallons or more, depending on the length of the tunnel. Turn on the fan full power. Turn on the gas. Just as the gas is all injected, A couple of magnesium flare guns are fired down the tunnel(automatically and remotely).You will lose the device, but you will clean out that tunnel pretty well. The ones that aren't killed outright will probably want to get out of the vicinity real quick. The gas doesn't have to be propane, but you would want to use something that will burn real quickly, so you can do your bodysweep without having to hang around too long.(ethylene oxide?).

The idea of using poison gas, as much as I'd approve of it, isn't good. It would be all the justification the rags would need for using it themselves. We have to maintain the moral high ground and show some restraint.

Now the idea of filling the tunnels with an FAE fuel like ethylene oxide (also a surgical anesthetic http://theforum.virtualave.net/ubb/smilies/wink.gif) and then lighting it up would certainly clear things out, but then how do you know if you burnt up OBL? All you'll have are a bunch of charred corpses.

As somebody already said, the problem isnt taking care of the caves, its finding them. One advantage of winter coming on is with IR detectors the caves may be detectable (depending on how deep they are) in contrast with the colder snow. If we do find bin Laden, we should keep him in at least 3 pieceshttp://theforum.virtualave.net/ubb/smilies/wink.gif and ideally one to show him off. Lets say we get bin Laden. Then we dont need to recover any more bodies, so we can set off large FAE's above caves to collapse them and bury anybody in them. Other than FAE's, we have bunker buster bombs that can penetrate 20ft of concrete to get them.

Is it just me or is there something funny about the most highly trained military minds in america requesting help from the lowest common denominator, the general public? Bunker buster bombs are horribly innefective against caves and other natural rock formations. Sure they could penetrate a good 50ft of ground to get Saddams deep bunkers, but Iraq is one big soft sand pile. Afgahnistan is one gigantic rock.

A bunker buster can get through 20 ft of concrete, but 10 ft of granite stops it cold.

Since when was the government interested in the opinions of it's people? Anybody even remotely interested in helping them is either a flaming retard (lowest common denominator) or already on their payroll as a consultant.

But my personal grounds why we shouldn't be bombing Afgahnistan aside. We won't find OBL through anonymous tips, we probably won't find him sweeping through caves, and we won't find him by shooting everybody in Afganistan. We'll either find him through a high-level defection (as Ctrl_C stated) or blind luck, nothing else will do it.

It may well have been a "dirty nuke", but the paper claimed it was actually a nuclear bomb and had been bought as military surplus from the Soviet Union (it was in a poorly built wooden case - also sprayed silver). It just smacked of being nothing more than a prop, especially since it had been made from two piece of pipe joined with a coupler. I'd have thought it was a real weapon they might have splashed out on a whole length of pipe...

Also saw this in a local paper:

I would probably think that they wouldn't even acknowledge having OBL, instead, they'd lock him up in some underground prison place and torture him whilst according to the media they "chase" him all across the globe whilst accidentaly/on purpose taking out most of the world's known terrorist groups. That way they keep public support and get rid of the terrorists.
