Does anyone know if a well stocked pharmacist could get in Red P?

It seems that you need some red P, isn't it ?
I have 1 kilo ! (if u want pictures just tell me...)I played with it a few times (Amstrog mix), but is too dangerous... It's a good cathalisator for some organic reactions (for making monochlor acetic acid, etc.)
I don't think that a farmacist can have this chemical, because it is not used for drugs making. You'll better try to obtain it from a mathches factory, if there is some close to you.

Red phosphorus is a severely restricted chemical because of the methheads using the iodine and red phosphorus reduction of (pseudo)ephedrine to form methamphetamine. This is why you don't find iodine crystals around anymore. Attempting to order red phosphorus from a pharmacist is a sure fire way of getting arrested.

not to mention its the most expensive chemical i can recall other than some exotics

My highschool had a large jar of it. If one were preapred to break a couple of windows, one could be in possession of this jar in less than two minutes.

Schools are a fantastic supply of poorly secured chemicals.

The red strikers on match boxes are around 50% red phosphorus/50% inert material to induce friction (ground glass, sand). If your intent is to use the red phosphorus to sensitize a HE, the inert material acts like microballoons, and if you count up the amount of red phosphorus and amount of microballoons wanted, it's about 1:1! So you can add it as is. Although, scraping the stuff off the strikers is VERY tedious.

I have asked a pharmacist about ordering I2. They said they could but it was pretty expensive. I was just going to play a practical joke or two so the price would not of been worth it.

I won't sell any of it. Is too dangerous to ship it (for me and for the receiver, because you'll have to give your address).
...And even if the address is not your currently one, the pigs will find you easily. I am currently testing a method for sending chemicals in small quantities (via a letter), but hey, I don't ship ANY chems to ANYONE.

Oh, and I2 is really not that difficult to come by, i just got it from my pharmacist (10 grams for less then 5€, don't remember the exact price, but i surely wouldn't pay more for it)
Now, there is a problem with it, it's evaporating through the plasic bottle it is in (it's all black and smells like iodine) is there something better to do then just put it in a small glass jar ?? Will it evaporate through the lid ?? (wich has a plastic sealing)

Acetone dissolves the glue that holds the stuff onto the striker. Might be easier than scraping it off by hand.
