I just found a old can of carbide in my grandfathers shed and he had a cannon that used it, then the nice little pigs come and took it away http://theforum.virtualave.net/ubb/smilies/frown.gif well it was pretty cool, well my uncle told me that he found the plans in a book about it but he doesn't have that book any more. So any ideas on how to make a good one?

They use it to make accethaleny gas for blow torches and in miners lamps and fish bombs, where you take a mason jar and put a hole in the lid a small hole just big anothe to let water in and tie a brick to it and toss it in the lake then.... Boom and scoop up the fish. Oh, I forgot you must put it in water and it look like gravel. And I buy mine in normalville out near indian head out near donagle on exit 9 of the Pennslyvain turn pike. And when you get to normalville you will see bigams gas station it right across from it the name of the store is Millers once your in the store its in back on the left it costs $4.76 and its 3 pound cans.
