HNO3 byAgNO3

I came across this formula in a chemistry book AgNO₃+H₂->Ag₂+HNO₃ I do not know if a catalyst is needed and I do not know what the conditions are for the reaction to occur. Just was letting you guys know if anyone has any more info on this topic id be happy to hear it.

Silver nitrate: $24 per ounce.

I think this makes this method too expensive. Though I suppose it wouldn't have any water in it.

Which means you would have to distill it anyway I guess.

Isn't like you'd have to scrimp on using fertilizer and drain opener to make it for 25¢/ounce.
