yes.
very very stable: especaily to shock.
explosive properites similar to picric acid, but less dramatic.

Ammonium picrate is very stable and very shock insensitive, requires a robust booster, but makes a great load for armor piercing explosive rounds, where internal detonation is desired.

made it once, cuz i was bord i guess, put when i tried to detonate it i failed, i used 3 grams of HMTD and 1 gram of rdx as the dentonator. That put me of the stuff, while mess around with the ammonium salt when the acid is stronger, easier to detonate and more really made??????
