I know this is a sensitive and explosive chemical, but are there any way of making this? -KMnO4 and ammonium......?

An idea very audacious would be- I don't say it is safe so do a little:
Mn2O7 + 2NH4OH--> 2NH4MnO4 + H2O
Mn2O7 is not a funny substance to play with...explosive and made from KMnO4 with H2SO4 conc
2KMnO4 + H2SO4--> Mn2O7 + K2SO4 + H2O

Has anyone information about the solubilty in water and alcohole and the power?
Now, I'm runned out of MNO4, so I can't test ist by myself...

Solubility of Ammonium permanganate, 8.0g/100g water @ 15C
VoD=1700m/s
I made between one or two grams of this last weekend. Thanks to Axt for the procedure. 2g KMnO4 dissolved in 20mL boiling water, 25g of solid ammonium nitrate added, cooled till crystalls appeared and water began to freeze. It was a slurry with ice crystalls when I filtered it. It is a good idea not to leave the ammonium permanganate in a damp filter paper for too long or the filter paper turns black and very fragile when dry.

Here is a thread on ammonium permanganate

PS: When ammonium permanganate is lit by a match the resulting deflagration seems quite unenergetic.

Is it soulouble in ethanol, aceton or ether?
I'm out of potassium permanganate,
At the time, I have no acces to it.
So I can't test it by meyself.
