I have been tracking the warez release of Acrobat 6 for the past few weeks and it is finially here. Unfortunatly I found this one site too late as it has been so popular today is the last day :( I don't have the fat pipes to d/l it in time, but one of you might be able to in time.

http://www.cdrsoft.cc/index3.html

Here is an FTP site with several rar files:
ftp://63.202.159.175/Public/aux.tagged%20/43275062%20/43275593%20/43276125%20/43276687%20/favas/

UPDATE: It looks like the cdrsoft site has already removed the file :( Of course with almost 7500 downloads I am sure it will be popping up more and more. Damn, I wish I had checked the site a few days ago.

I've been able to get Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro through MIRC, a chat program from a warez channel. If you would like additional info I'd be happy to help you but this isn't really a forum to be discussing about warez. This process takes some time, usually a few hours but its worth it.

The by far easiest way to get all kinds of data (i.e. applications, computer games, movies, etc.) is filesharing. I've found my favourite program with Emule Plus (http://emuleplus.sourceforge.net) (in order to download it, click on a mirror next to eMule Plus 1f (binary)). It contains no spyware, is fast and very comfortable: you need nothing else to do than making use of the search function and choosing a file from the results (for movies, it's recommended to do a fakecheck for the file).

Downloading files that way takes a little longer than a direct download, but all in all it's faster because you don't have to check 100 warez sites before you find what you want, especially for rare files. Plus, there are no kicked files and no-one bothers you to vote for their site or visit their "sponsors".

Since I do also need Acrobat 6 Pro, I'll download it and place it on the Forum FTP next week or so.

I can upload Adobe Acrobat 6 to the forum FTP now if you would like me to. All I need to know is where to upload it to.

I'm trying to upload the file but the server keeps denying me permission to add files.

It looks like the Forum FTP is not fully working at the time, so we'll have to wait until Ctrl_C can fix the problem.

Oh happy day. While looking for tips on advanced acrobat uses I went to the adobe website and saw they just released Acrobat 7! It looks like they may even make a free trial available (suckers), but not quite yet.

I am not quite sure if it is available. The only place I could find that sells it is Adobe itself, but they say to expect shipment by the end of December. If anyone finds this kindly point me in the right direction.

Fuck! I'm just learning how to use 6 decently and they're already coming out with 7?!

WTF! How the hell are people supposed to get proficient if they're constantly changing up on you with 'New & Improved' versions every year? Sounds like a case of needless 'upgrades' to keep up the profit margin.

I read somewhere were they have an average of an 18 month product cycle for Acrobat. I know it seems it just came out yesterday, but it has been 18 months already. A dot release would make more sense, but you don't make money selling dot releases. At least we don't have the added worry of bothering to pay for the thing :D

It's here! I am uploading version 7 and a keygen to the FTP right now. It should be up sometime tomorrow.

EDIT: I just found another website offering a direct download. I suggest you get it there while it is hot as these kinds of sites have a short half life.
