Does anyone out there know how to build a radio frequency detector?
If so I could use some schematics as to the parts and connections and what not....Appreciate it, thanx

probably the easiest RF detector is made with a simple swing arm meter and 2 germanium diodes

i`ll TRY draw it;

(meter + terminal)-----|<------O------|<-------(meter - terminal)

connect a wire antena at the O point.
the germanium diodes are the large glass type found in radios, there is a line on the body of the diode closer to one end, if it was on the right the diagram would be;

----->|------

the more sensitive your meter the better results you`ll obtain at a greater distance.
if you`re using a VOHM meter put your setting on the mili amp range or Micro amp range if you`ll lucky enough to own one that sensitive.

it will also double up as a microwave leakage detector :)

all the best :)
