I have searched for this and got like 100 different numbers for potassium nitreat fertilizer like 13-0-38 14-08-24 and others which one is correct and can there be small differnces in the numbers and still be kn03.

The bag I have is 13.75-0-46 and is called greenhouse grade. It works very well as is for BP and KNO3/sucrose rocket propellant.

I am about to purchase a bag of prilled potassium nitrate the NPK is as follows:
N%13.0
P%0
K%38.3
S%0
This product is somewhat expensive and was wondering how pure that is, does anyone know?
As I am hoping to make HNO3

On the side of the jug of KNO3 it states: Potassium Nitrate with chelated trace elements. I was intending to use it for HNO3 manufacture, distilling H2SO4 with KNO3. Will these chelated trace elements have any effect?
Or do I need pure KNO3?
