Practice Rifle grenade (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3634173078&category=36258&rd=1)

This might be an intersting piece for those interested in rocket style weapons. I have seen and used various rifle grenades and most could be adapted to rocket power without to much fuss. Put the biggest easte's model rocket engine in it and make some sort of launcher.

Looks like the grenade can be modified to suite other non-cilvilian purposes :D

I think it'd be easier and cheaper to just use the old dowel rod down the shotgun barrel with one's explosive package attached to the distal end of the dowel. Ths original plan for this was found in a book called Che Guevara On Guerrila Warfare. Worked well with my 12 ga. and a round that I'd taken the shot out of.

Hey Fergus what kind of range did you get with that? What was the weight of the projectile? That design sounds very easy to do but how effective is it.

I am not sure what the exact wt was but I used a cut off broomstick for the dowel rod and a 6 oz glass Coke bottle with water in it for the payload so it was heavier than need be. I got a good 75 yards out of it. It would be easier to merely tape a payload to the stick with duct tape than to build the platform Che describes and decrease the wt by using something lighter than a glass bottle, thereby increasing the range obtained. You can probably get better instructions from the book "Che Guevara On Guerrilla Warfare".
