HE explosions

I was woundering why the sound from the blast of an HE of about 100g, seems to resonate? Is this due to the shock wave?

Sound reflection off surfaces which are out of phase with the main blast sound.

We should make a thread for short questions like this that don't merit a discussion. Set it up so the posts only last for a few days so it dosn't get huge. something of a 'chat room' thread where quick one line answer questions could be answered.

I remeber in EOD school they wouldnt let us do very large shots on cloudy day due to the fact the sound reflects off them and could crack windows in the next town (1000lb HE)
