Well I ordered a pound of AN and I was wondering what would the most powerful mixture of AN and a fuel to get the best DV? I would like to be able to set it off with some AP putty because I do not have access to commercial blasting caps. This is the first time I have “played” with AN because I never had the balls to order it over the Internet, now I am worried that the ATF or the FBI is going to come to my door.

If you had posted this in the water cooler you might get away with it, but if you read the rules you would know making new threads is not considered acceptable for newbies, especially a question like this...

Nitromethane would give you the highest detonation velocity, but you might have a hard time finding it.

There are plenty of OTC sources for AN if you read some of the other threads here, but you might not be around long enough to do any more reading. Next time check the rules before posting.
