While I was looking at frogfot's website www.frogfot.com, I saw some information on the synthesis of tetrameric AP which appeared of interest. There is a link to a pdf on his website: http://www.frogfot.com/stuff/aptetrameric.pdf
What I would like to know is has anyone else here synthesised tetrameric succesfully and had good results with it, I am quite intersted that it can be done at room temperature however I still need to find a source of Tin(IV) Chloride or I might make it, then I will try it out for myself.

Comments anyone?

I will try some improvised experiment next year (I'm occupied until then). But this thread give me a reason to be little proud of myself...I'm long enough here to recognise a thread that should be elsewhere:)
