Anyone thought about making a usenet group?

Anyone thought of going to alt.config and requesting to make an alt.binaries.rogue-science group. That would take some of the offload off the FTP and allow users to fill requests and spread the information.

Just a suggestion.

might I suggest it would be better as something not quite as obvious? alt.binaries.rs or more obscure? Otherwise it will rapidly get filled with spammers and trolls.

Nix the newsgroup idea, I just read Megalomania's history and realize now why it was a bad idea.
