40mm grenade pistol

I think the best self defence firearm of all times might be a 40mm grenade pistol - could be made out of a flare gun - 38mm flare gun or other should need a new barrel, that can actually be done in any metal-working workshops if you've got the blueprints, and it isn't anything difficult to make a pipewith a few holes for attachement to the gun. 40mm grenades isn't anything rare and I suppose one could just fire them from a flare gun. Anyway - you can always fire a flare and a grenade (everything of your own choice) from M203, that usually comes attached to m4, m16a2, AK47/74 or G36 - almost any assault rifle of your choice, so if someone has buit that handgun, i'd be happy to hear how is it to carry around a gun and feel, that no vehicle (except tanks) can hurt you... And if possible - I'd like to see a photo...

There are plans for a 40mm grenade launcher on the ftp.
Its designed to go under the barrel of a gun, but it could properly be built just by itself.

Yes please, I'd be greatful. I've allways wanted to build one, that thing can protect from anything. I just wanted to build one, becouse I can get some 40mm grenades and one can't miss that chance.

I did some searching and there is lots of info on the 40mm Grenade launcher on the forum. So do some searching and take it from there. Its not like the topic hasn't been discussed.

All decent threads, although I'm not exactly sure what your looking for. Yes, the 40mm grenade gun, but do you care how big? Design? Enumeration would be nice. ;)

A self-defence pistol that has a lethal explosive range of how far? Considering that most self-defense shootings occur at under 7 feet, you will blow yourself to hell at the same time.
