Some graphics I've decided to gloat about, tell me what you think. I finished these early June.

First 4 images, then a 9 mb video.

Nice models!

Your movie killed my browser though, not sure why, probably a bug in Quicktime... The start looked good.

It's an omen. If you're really in the Disunited Kingdom, you shouldn't be awake when you posted.

Are those solidworks drawings?

No, they're done in Cinema 4d: http://www.maxon.net
And 3 of the stills done with Maxwell: http://www.maxwellrender.com

Just FYI, my CAD of choice is Rhino 3D (neither of the above are CAD): http://www.rhino3d.com

Took two months, at an average of 1 hr per weekday.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

I just experimented with traditional animation:

http://web.pdx.edu/~bsemerj/Temp/Avatar.gif (am using this image elsewhere)

I like it! Took 2 hrs, but it'd take longer with a computer and wouldn't have the natural look.
The obvious catch is that it's line art, but to be hoenst I like that stuff. Anyone heard of Don Hertzfeldt? He's my hero :->

Here's a wallpaper I made a while back while I was getting accustomed to Linux (Slackware). I screwed around with scripts in povray, mostly playing around with random colors and trig until I got this (http://img161.echo.cx/my.php?image=pic35nh.jpg) .

Neat! I messed with POV around 3 years and couldn't make half of that wallpaper. POV scripting can be so much fun, though.

If you came up with the ideas for the titles of the 'books', perhaps you could make them up as gag gifts and get some egghead supply company to sell them for you. :)
