I thought the water cooler was the best place to post this.
As I was watching CNN, BPM Tony Blair said that any person in the UK "frequenting certain websites and stores" may be imprisioned or deported! That is insane. I can't believe a law like that can be passed, although I am totally unfamiliar with the process living in the US. I am really sorry for you guys in the UK. What are you guys going to do? How can they possibly watch all that internet traffic?
I will bet my balls that this forum, and a few others are ones that are certainly being banned!
I would guess a law like that cannot be passed in the US with our freedom of speech, and the like. However, maybe with a "terror" clause it can be. I can't believe I live in a time like this.
What do you guys think about this?
