I have a blankgun with modified ammo. The plastic end of the shell is opened and a metal ball is put there. It serves as a real bullet with less power. There is a white powder in these ammo. I wonder what this is. Maybe it can have some uses;) Any ideas?

Well, it might be a light coloured BP, or it could be a smokeless propellant.

What country are you in? A look at what the law says about blanks might tell you as much as we can.

bonusiletisim, what kind of power/accuracy do you get with the metal ball?
would it be better to use .117 air rifle pellet or a bullet.

Shrub, he is gone. Last activity, July 2006. Always check how stale the corpse is. But to answer your question, .177 is going to fly better for the the obvious reasons of its better ballistics.

According to a gunshop owner the powder is nitrocellulose. SBSP or the green DBSP. He told me it varies brand to brand.
