Has anyone had any experience detonating Tannerite targets without using a high powered riffle? Tannerite targets are supposed to contain 95% ammonium nitrate and 5% fine flake aluminum powder.
More specifically, would an 8oz. tannerite target detonate with 10 grams of enclosed 70/30 perchlorate / aluminum(flash powder) used instead of a balsting cap?
