I'm in the process of changing residences. The FTP server will be down
from April 30 to at least May 3 to get it re-established in my new home.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

April 29 will be the last day that the FTP is online until the hardware is
moved. On April 30, I will lock the server to prevent new logins. Expect
this to occur between 2 and 3 AM on Sunday morning. I'll post again
when the server is back online. If my ISP is prompt, it could be as little
as one day.

Also, there are many new requests for access to the FTP. These won't
be processed until after the move. Thanks for your patience !

No inconvenience tmp, on the contrary, thank you for hosting a FTP. I, personally, have found it invaluble. Hope your moving goes well.

Hopefully the move will be smooth.
Also not sure on what your setup is but I was wondering about how hard, not to ask you to do any morethen you have, but a asp, orcgi,or php scriptthat will allow us to prefom a search to se if a file is allready on the server, updated in real time so as not to have soo.... much double content, and it would allow us to se if something is not their and post it [Hint, hint to leechers, though quality is something that could never be stressed enough].

TIA

The move wasn't that smooth because a whiny, lazy, mooching, drunken, piece of
shit didn't do his part. I'm totally exhausted ! Finally, Comcast got out here this
morning to pull the trap that was blocking my internet access. This connection has
a higher download speed but sadly I'm still stuck at 768 kbps for the upload end.

Anyway, the FTP is back up and running.

I've processed all requests for new accounts today. Some couldn't get through.
I'll assume NBK banned some of these people for violating the RULES. That's
the price they pay !

Anyway, it's good to get the FTP back up even though I'm dead-ass tired from the
move. I always look forward to the sharing of information. You all should be very
proud of your efforts to make this a great sharing resource. There's plenty of
space left on the drive so don't be shy about uploading. Although I still have to
get everything else unpacked, it's time to relax and party a little. So grab a beer,
order a pizza, rent a DVD, smoke a joint - whatever turns you on ! Have fun !

The FTP server will be down on August 8, 2006 to allow for system
maintenance. This will happen between 2 PM and 8 PM EDT. The
server will be locked at 1 PM to allow completion of existing
downloads and uploads.
