Apparently in China donating organs after death is a taboo amongst the population, so the government turns to prisoners. Only problem is that "normal" criminals are usually too malnourished by the time they are executed for their organs to be of any use. So where do they turn to? Persecutable minorities of course. Apparently when organ transplants are in high demand, falun gong practitioners tend to disappear in China. Unlike other prisoners at Chinese Gulags, political prisoners have their health, blood group etc monitored in case someone more important needs a kidney transplant
