Potassium perchlorate

Hi.

I just got two 8oz bottles of Potassium Perc.
I also have the aluminum powder to make flash but I would like to know if there is anything else I can mix perc with to cause high or low explosive. I heard cane sugar would work.. is that true? Thanks.

I don't know...why don't you try using the search engine, both here and Google, and find out yourself? :)

I have used google to see if cane sugar would work. It supposedly does work but I tried earlier with the trusty 7:3 ratio. All it did was throw KClO4 out of the fuse hole.

Just to be clear, are you trying to detonate KClO4 and sugar by putting it in a casing and combusting it? :)
