That's the idea:
Buy eight cheap spring airguns cal .177 BB should be OK
Disassemble the guns into the barrels and spring parts, throw away the stocks
Build four round receivers to put the barrels and springparts
Build a receiver like a corkscrew around the spring parts
Build a slope receiver and put it between the beginning and end of the corkscrew part, going towards the barrels
Build some levers to bend the springs when traveling through the corkscrew part
Use a bigger electro engine with gear to drive it
Build a big container fitting into the gap between the barrels
Put a simple magnet on the end of every barrel for loading
Pour some thousand steel BBs into the container
Switch on the engine and have fun
What do you think ?
Would it be practical or just a waste of time ?
The idea is that the lever at the slope part will be set free and fire the BB out of the barrel.
It wont be accurate at all but with let's say 600 rpms it'll be a rof of 4800 BBs per minute ;)
I know there are airsoft guns mimicing the real M134 7,62 mm gatling but I think that's the easiest way to build your own gatling with some more power then these ;)
