I'm hoping this isn't against the rules...and I don't *think* that it is, given that suppliers are discussed in regards to other substances fairly openly here, but i'm wondering if any of you have had any experience ordering "research chemicals"(designer drugs) online, and if so, can you recommend any good places?

I know a lot of them are scams, but I think i've found two that seem reputable:

www.bravo-trading.com
www.hcl-research.com

I placed an order from bravo just a few minutes ago, so i'll let you all know how that turns out when/if it arrives.

EDIT: Also, I would like to say that I would have asked this on a site more geared towards this kind of discussion, but most of them have a very strict no-supplier-discussion policy. But since these substances are technically legal(in most countries) and suppliers of other semi-legal substances are discussed elsewhere on this forum, I thought it would probably be ok to ask here.

It's coming from Hong Kong, so it's not like it's a DEA sting operation. :)

Though coming through customs...

Everything on there is a drug precursor.

Most drug forums have an RC section...drugs-forum, wetdreams, lycaeum, etc..

@NBK: Drug precursors? Oh no, most of those things are actual drugs in and of themselves. They're all from Shulgin's books. 2C-E/2C-I are supposed to be similar to E and LSD at the same time, with 2C-E being a lot heavier and 2C-I being more of a party drug.

from 5g: $320 per gram

Oh...so we're supposed to send US$1,500 to a communist country on the off chance that they'll actually send the drug analog to a capitalist country, and not just keep it and laugh at the stupidity of the imperialist running dogs?

Depending on which country you are in, 5-MeO-DMT is still legally available from Sigma-Aldrich at good prices.http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/search/ProductDetail/SIGMA/M2381

On the subject of online drug purchases, I was considering buying some generic modafinil from this guy: http://shop.airsealed.com/pd_india.cfm

I'm fairly skeptical of internet meds, but he does have some good reviews on a couple of forums.

I have sent my money to bravo-trading, and they did respond with a tracking number that seems to be valid, so my hopes are high at the moment. I also received a price quote from www.hartark.com on 2C-I. They sell it for $187/g. And according to them, they also carry:

Now we have DIPT,DPT,5-MEO-DIPT,5-MEO-DALT,5-MEO-DPT,2C-C,2C-N,2C-B,2C-I,2C-E in stock.

After December 15 we will supply AMT,DMT,DOC,DOB,DOI,DOM,and next plan to produce 5-MEO-DMT,MIPT,5-MEO-DET,2C-D,2C-P,2C-T,2C-T-2,2C-T-7.

They seem pretty legit too, though I haven't ordered from them yet.

How on earth are these people getting away with it?

I know that all those drugs are illegal in the US, and the DEA has its claws into pretty much every country in world, via Uncle Sams checkbook.

I have to assume it's either a sting or being monitored by customs to bust the recipients.

It's probably also not a good idea to post what you've ordered, and from where, as well as when, on a public board.

I would be very careful ordering RC's nowadays. After the DEA launched Operation Web Tryp in 2004 to take out the main suppliers it became quite risky to order them, as the site could very well be a sting. Also, I highly doubt any website would openly sell Schedule 1 chemicals like DMT.

5 of them are schedule I, dmt, 2c-b, dom, dob, and 2c-t-7. The rest are unscheduled AFAIK. And the U.S. might have broad influence, but China is one place that is still relatively out of our hands.

It's theoretically possible to prosecute someone under the Federal Analog Act for these substances, however it must be proven that they were intended for human consumption, and the burden of proof for that is on the U.S. government. And I also don't think it's possible to prosecute someone for purchasing an analog-drug, only for selling it, so i'm fairly confident that the worst that can happen to me is confiscation.

Operation web tryp targetted only U.S. based RC suppliers, and it also did not target any of the people who purchased RCs.

Well, let us know anyways if you get it successfully and it actual works (not just sugar).

Oh, and I'd give a dose to a rat first, just in case the stuff isn't a drug, but poison.

Ok, the substances have arrived today. They did go through customs, and they came sealed in 3 layers of envelopes with a plastic vaccum sealed bag inside. Inside the vaccum sealed bag were 3 little baggies, containing the 3 different substances I ordered.

I haven't weighed them yet, and I haven't bioassayed them yet...but things are looking pretty good.

According to Erowid, no.

http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/4_ho_dipt/4_ho_dipt_law.shtml

Most of these chems haven't yet been scheduled...but i've heard that the DEA is looking at them for scheduling. I assume if it's going to happen, it'll probably happen at the beginning of this year :(. So, once i'm sure i've got good stuff, I think i'm gonna be making some bigger orders.

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

Drug Enforcement Administration

[Docket No. DEA-273N]

Solicitation of Information on the Use of Tryptamine-Related
Compounds

AGENCY: Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Justice.

ACTION: Notice of request for information.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: The DEA is soliciting information on substances that are
related in chemical structure to tryptamine (see SUPPLEMENTARY
INFORMATION). The Controlled Substances Act (CSA), in Title 21 of the
United States Code (U.S.C. 812© Schedule I (Title 21 of the Code of
Federal Regulations (CFR 1308.11(d)), lists certain tryptamines as
Schedule I controlled substances. Some tryptamines that are not
controlled under the CSA produce central nervous system effects that
are similar to tryptamines that are controlled under the CSA. DEA is
requesting information to help determine the impact on business if
these substances were to be placed under control in the CSA.

DATES: Written comments must be postmarked, and electronic comments
must be sent, on or before October 3, 2006.

ADDRESSES: To ensure proper handling of comments, please reference
``Docket No. DEA-273N'' on all written and electronic correspondence.
Written comments being sent via regular mail should be sent to the
Deputy Assistant Administrator, Office of Diversion Control, Drug
Enforcement Administration, Washington, DC 20537, Attention: DEA
Federal Register Representative/ODL. Written comments sent via express
mail should be sent to DEA Headquarters, Attention: DEA Federal
Register Representative/ODL, 2401 Jefferson-Davis Highway, Alexandria,
VA 22301. Comments may be directly sent to DEA electronically by
sending an electronic message to dea.diversion.policy@usdoj.gov.
Comments may also be sent electronically through http://www.regulations.gov
using the electronic comment form provided on that
site. An electronic copy of this document is also available at the
http://www.regulations.gov Web site. DEA will accept attachments to
electronic comments in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Adobe PDF, or Excel
file formats only. DEA will not accept any file format other than those
specifically listed here.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Christine A. Sannerud, Ph.D., Chief,
Drug and Chemical Evaluation Section, Office of Diversion Control, Drug
Enforcement Administration, Washington, DC 20537; Telephone: (202) 307-
7183.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Tryptamine is a compound in which the
chemical structure can be described as indole substituted at the three
position with an 2-aminoethyl chain. Although tryptamine itself is not
a controlled substance, its chemical structure constitutes the skeletal
makeup of tryptamines listed in Schedule I of the CSA, which are
classified as hallucinogenic substances.
Tryptamine is sometimes substituted on the indole ring or the 2-
aminoethyl chain or both with various substituents. Title 21 CFR
1308.11(d) lists specific substituted tryptamines in Schedule I. Also
included in Schedule I are the salts, isomers, and salts of isomers of
the listed tryptamines. The term isomer, as used in this section, means
the optical, geometric, and positional isomers.
Individuals have published detailed methods of synthesis for
substituted tryptamines and have reported pharmacological effects based
on user experiences. Law enforcement personnel encounter such
tryptamines, but because they are substituted differently than those
listed or described in the CSA, they are not subject to direct control
in Schedule I. However, some of these substances can be treated as
Schedule I controlled substance analogues if intended for human
consumption (21 U.S.C. 802(32); Sec. 813).
DEA is soliciting information on (1) The commercial uses for
tryptamines, (2) activities involving research and development, (3)
tryptamines as intermediates or analytical standards, (4) import and
domestic sources for tryptamines, and (5) any planned or anticipated
uses for tryptamines. DEA invites interested persons to provide any
information on the uses of tryptamines in industry, academia, research
and development, or other applications. Both quantitative and
qualitative information is sought.
Although information is requested for all tryptamine substances
regardless of substitutions, DEA is particularly interested in
tryptamines that meet one

[[Page 44315]]

or more of the following conditions: (a) Has a secondary or tertiary
amine formed by the substitution on the nitrogen atom of the 2-
aminoethyl chain by various alkyl groups, whether in chain or ring form
(for example, N-alkyltryptamine, N,N-dialkyltryptamine, N,N-
tetramethylenetryptamine), (B) has an alkyl substitution on the alpha
position of the 2-aminoethyl chain, and/or © has substituents on the
indole ring system, including, but not restricted to, various alkyl
chains, halogens, hydroxyl, alkoxy, acetyl, or alkylthio groups, at one
or more positions except the one (indole nitrogen) position. DEA is
especially interested in learning of the uses of the following
tryptamines.

They filed it on August 3rd of this year, which means nothing will happen in '07, as it takes them at least a year to do all the paperwork and committee bullshit, but they could have it approved and scheduled by January '08.

So, if the stuff you bought was good, and you've got the money, buy as much as you can because they WILL be closing the loophole eventually. :(

Or learn how to make your own. :)

I hope one day this "War on drugs" and all this government propaganda that drugs are "bad" is going to stop. These are entirely my decisions and as long as I don´t harm other people with my recreational drug use,)for example driving a car while on 5 grams of psychedelic mushrooms) I should have the right to do any drug I want and not be oppressed by the government.

Luckily that list only deals with tryptamines and doesn't mention phenethylamines. The loophole will still be open for at least two more years.

I plan on making an order tonight on bravo for the following:

100mg 2C-I
100mg 2C-E
100mg 2-CT-2
100mg 4-HO-DIPT
100mg 5-MEO-DET

Hopefully the order will only take four days to ship as it did for Nihilist.

I'm guessing the loophole will stay open unless the suppliers start advertising on Google again,or the media reports a bunch of overdoses like with 2C-T-7 a couple of years ago.
