Fair enough, you have some questions anoud TNP.

But grow some fucking brains and at least post the 2 of them TOGETHER somewhere in one of the many threads relating to TNP (aka Picric Acid).

If you had run a search on Picric Acid here, you would have found this (http://www.roguesci.org/theforum/showthread.php?t=4951&highlight=picric+acid) thread, and this (http://www.roguesci.org/theforum/showthread.php?t=107&highlight=picric+acid) thread, as well as this (http://www.roguesci.org/theforum/showthread.php?t=5643&highlight=picric+acid) thread. Any one of which would have either

a) Answered your questions or
b) Would have been a suitable place to post your questions.

Thats only on the first of 5 pages of results.

With most synthesis, when a certain concentration of chemical is used it's because you NEED that concentration.

If your synth (which I hope you found at Mega's Chem Lab) says 98% sulfuric acid, then you need to use 98%. It isnt that hard, boil your acid till it has a density of 1.84 g/cm3 or there about.

In regards to your question about using NH4NO3, I'm pretty sure you can.

But I'm not going to do your research for you, go find it yourself.
