This chemical was recently prepared by Klaus Banert in 2006. It has the chemical formula C(N3)4 and is an extremely unstable explosive.

It is prepared by reacting trichloroacetonitrile (Cl3CCN) with sodium azide (NaN3).

This compound seems to be too unstable to be useful at the moment however it might be possible to react it with another compound to maintain power and increase stability.

I am by no means equipped or experienced enough to try this but the information may be useful to some people.
