If you can build a 1911 from scratch you generally can fix damn near any semi auto pistol on the market. Especially if you understand the 1911 and any modern striker fired pistol. Great stuff.

Also the spring thing will be outstanding as well.

I know this isn't a gun forum, but with all the amateur engineers this will be good stuff for them.

The demonoid tracker still works, try adding TPB tracker to the torrent as well.

A "striker fired" pistol is not a 1911. A 1911 is considered to be a hammer fired browning design, a striker fired weapon is more akin to a Glock design. That is, a hammerless design.

I have built 1911 up from the naked frame on several occasions as project pistols and the fitting of the slide to the rails of the frame is perhaps one of the most critical aspects of it's construction. You can generally tell a well made 1911 by the flush nature of the slide to the frame, especially in the back.

A Glock design: a striker fired element generally has no hammer & is dependent on a camming action for it's firing pin inertia. This fits well with the polymer frame concept as the weapon has a great deal of focus on the slide as a independent element to provide many of the features of the unified Browning design used to. .....Two completely differing design concepts.

Can someone please reshare the torrents? The link given here is working but the torrents themselves halt before completion.
