View Full Version : My File Listing

Hello,
I'm new to the forums, this is my first post.
Over time I've collected a large selection of books and documents like those I've seen mentioned here, so I thought I'd share my collection. Currently I have 533 folders and 7347 files, 8.84 GB in all.

Most of these files were downloaded from various sources online, but I've scanned many of them myself. (I scanned two books this morning and I've got seven more on my desk for later tonight...) So lots of these files are files which just aren't available online.

Unfortunately, hi speed connections aren't available where I live, so I'm on dialup. Obviously, I can't send the entire collection over a dialup connection, but I will be happy to oblige you on uploading specific files. If its anything up to a few hundred megs I drive downtown and upload it via my laptop's wi-fi connection.

If I can get myself an account on TMP's FTP I might be able to have a friend upload the entire collection for me; but for now, you can request individual files (make note of the file size before requesting, the bigger the file the longer the wait!)

The directory listing may be viewed here:

A book with which to begin to fill your noticeably vacant chemical weapons section would be plutobound's scan of Ledgard's A Laboratory History of Chemical Warfare Agents with PAC's companion compilation of the referenced patents.

The Book:

The Patents:

Another good book for that section would be M. Sartori's The War Gases, which I believe is in SM's library, but, if it's not, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Some files of interest to me could be 'RPG - Rocket Propelled Grenade Launcher.pdf' and 'Smithing - Plans For Mortar.pdf.' If the RPG file is anything beside yet another user manual (or if it contains any useful references, such as patents), I'd appreciate an upload. If the mortars file is written for use by someone with access to CAD/CAM software and a machine shop, please upload that as well.

Thanks for the links! Those files look a bit large for my dialup connection, but I'll download them on my laptop within the next few days!

Ask and ye shall receive!

The RPG file isn't much at all, but the mortar file might be what your looking for; hope it helps!

I see. Well, I've definitely got enough to upload, I'll just have to borrow a friend's hi-speed connection for a few days (or weeks!). I've PMed tmp.

One more thing: I only uploaded a directory listing for my warfare folder. I also have a science folder with 2,473 files that is 25.7 GB and I'm willing to share it too. Here is the directory listing:

I now have an account on tmp's ftp server. I'll try to upload my warfare folder (9 GB) within a week or so, and my whole science folder (25 GB) within a month or so.

I'll be uploading everything to this directory: UPLOAD/SuperScience%20Uploads/
