I want to make this the unofficial thread for filesharing and file related programs. I can't imagine this thread getting too long, and I'm sure everything I am about to post pretty much covers it all. Note, every rapidshare link I post on this thread, has the roguesci.org password.

DVD Shrink
A must have for any people who rip DVD's. You insert a physical DVD, and it will convert it into an ISO; you can even remove parts of the DVD to conserve more space, ie different language dubs, subtitles, certain chapters, etc.

Daemon Tools Lite
Another important tool. This gives you the ability to make virtual drives, where you can mount image files, either to play them like a dvd, or even to rip to get video from it.

PowerISO
You can also use this to mount image files, as I said above, but more importantly, I use it to burn ISO's onto physical discs.

Xilisoft DVD Ripper
Use this to rip DVD's to avi files. The beauty is, not only can you rip physical discs, but you can also burn mounted image files as well!

Easy Video Joiner
Xilisoft DVD ripper converts to avi, however, it sometimes leaves several segments or groups of video files. With this program, you can seamlessly bind them into one single file.

Real Producer Plus V10
This program converts video files to .rv files, which as we all know from NBK, save much more space, yet keep most of their original quality.

All of Them.
And finally, instead of tediously downloading program after program, I have them in a single .rar file, all those mentioned above:

~~~~~~~~
As for these, I'll make direct download links for these in the future, but for now, here are some important torrent links.
ABBYY FineReader 9.0
I thank Enkidu for referring me to this program. It is great OCR software, where you can convert PDF files to word, images to word, word to pdf, etc etc.
Adobe Acrobat Professional
Another must have, to create and edit PDF files.
If you have all of these programs, you have a great advantage with working with various files. I have tested at least another ten or so programs with video converting, and the ones I mentioned above work the best.
You might notice all the download links have "link 1;" I am currently uploading these to megaupload as well, for convenience. And this is something I would like if other people did this as well. We all know that rapidshare has a "cooldown" when you download files from them. While this will take a little more time, it will by far more efficient to upload to multiple hosts. Uploading to a second host alone literally doubles the efficiency of our sharing! We can certainly take advantage of uploading things this way. Of course, users downloading many small files will benefit from this. But more importantly, we can share larger files with ease. Imagine, once the person finished part 1.rar on rapidshare, they then go to part 2.rar on megaupload, and so on and so forth.
While it is extremely generous of TMP to have an FTP server for us, I think we should not use it as a main channel to get files, and more of a backup. He has only so much bandwidth, and as we know, as we get more members, this will only make the situation worse. If we make it a habit to get all of our files via direct download and torrents, it will take a huge workload off of his server, will get you better download speeds, and most importantly, let the people who really need x rare file from his server download it with ease and speed. Just like everyone else, I have a life outside of Rogue Science, but I do what I can to make as many files as I can public, and much easier to obtain. I encourage others to help me with this; simply downloading one file, then making a torrent or rapidshare folder of it, remember, hundreds or even thousands of people will then be able to download it! In conclusion, the larger we increase our free library open to over 30,000 of our members, the more information will spread. What I have uploaded so far on my own is a mere fraction of what can be downloaded here. Become a part of it, and help us create a stronger filesharing network!
One last thing. If anyone else knows of good file hosting sites, feel free to post them here.
I think that's a damn good point. The guy has done a favor for all concerned and making a file sharing exchange out of his FTP puts needless pressure on what essentially is a favor done in good will.
Jumping from one free site to another is not a big deal; actually it's done often enough in other instances of finding material...
One last thing. If anyone else knows of good file hosting sites, feel free to post them here.
I use MiHD.net for uploads. Unlimited downloads, and they don't block users from any country by IP (at least as far as the EU or the US). 4shared.com is good as well. It's like a virtual hard drive. zupload.com looks good too, but I've never used it.
Here's a list of filehosting sites that someone at SM posted. I haven't checked any of these links, so I don't know if their download / upload rules have changed or even if they still exist.
I have been wanting to give something to E&W forum for a while. I think this my be my chance. I upload PDF Password Remover v2.2 with serials. I find it useful when I need to remove password protected pdf's for editing. This is my first upload to rapidshare and post on forum. If anything is not correct let me know and I will straighten it out .
