I have downloaded the ruger mini-14 AGI from you're folder on the TMP FTP. I can not get it to playback with sound . I read the forum and downloaded real media alternative ,real player 10 and 121 pro versions and still get no sound . plus when I run gspot on it. it shows no audio track. Would it be possible to upload a non controversial version of the file to the FTP?

Hi, and sorry to bother you all with this. I saw that there are several files to get using torrents and that there more downloading via ftp.
I am more or less able to use uTorrent.
The problem is that I cannot find an explanation in the forum about how to get into the roguesci or other ftp.
I read that you and others talked about a key and that some said something about asking for one and others about the waiting time.

There´s so much information and tidbits around that I´m afraid to ask the wrong question and be banned. I´m still looking anyway.

The fact is that although I´ve been using computers for more than 15 years theis is the first time I try to use FTP, uploading and downloading.
I am trying to look for several books and magazines I have in pdf to make torrents but may be it is better to put them in the ftp.
Well, that´s all.
Thanks.

I am having trouble downloading the PMJB pdf's from the FTP.

When it gets about halfway through it says session timed out....any help would be appreciated.

There are numerous posts saying they cannot get it to work, so instead of spamming the folder with them, I now made a designated thread for this.

Red Beret,

Which PMJB do you need? I have a few of them and can upload to rapid share.

I own 1 and 2, so 3,4,and 5 would be great...why is it timing out though? It does it with large files...will try again tonight anyway.

Halad, check your PMs for FTP access information.

GunsForEveryone, check the file properties for an audio track. If it's not
missing, check your audio codes in the Device Manager(if Windows O/S).
There are various free audio codecs around on the net. You may wish to
check your Volume Controls to be sure the various audio levels aren't muted
and the volume is turned up high enough.

FTP problems could be several-fold. Try using the FileZilla client if not already
doing so. The server runs on FileZilla and the client has the least amount of
problems. Search the forum using 'filezilla' as the search term. I created a
thread containing downloading, installation and usage instructions for the
client.

Also, as most people are aware, the server was moved to another dedicated
computer and there were issues setting up the server. The router I'm using
loses its mind once in a while. The same can be said for the cable modem
whenever the ISP changes the IP address.

Thank you, Phrankinsteyn, for helping a fellow Forumite in need of info. I'll do
the best I can with the FTP but it never hurts to have more sources. IMHO,
we can't have too many sources.

The FTP problems, especially the move to a dedicated server, have largely
been solved. I wish all the best of luck in obtaining necessary information.

Not a problem with the FTP itself, but with its content: Does anyone know the password for the "Journal of medicinal Chemistry"?
Thanks in advance

Recently I have found some corrupt files in my archive and determined that I also uploaded them to the FTP too.

"Adv_Knife_Making_-_Hoffman.pdf"
"Barrel_Fitting_Hoffman.pdf"
"Barrels&Actions_-_Hoffman.pdf"
"Gunsmith and Tool Making Bible-Harold Hoffman.pdf" are corrupt

Dear TMP,

Please delete all instances of the foregoing and copy "THE ADVANCE KNIFE MAKERS MANUAL - Harold Hoffman.pdf", "Barrel Fitting - Harold Hoffman.pdf", "Barrels & Actions - Harold Hoffman.pdf", "GUNSMITHING AND TOOL MAKING BIBLE - Harold Hoffman.pdf" from my folder (i.e. /UPLOAD/AkinRog).

These are the good copy of the files. Regards.
