Recently ive been trying out different exploding target compositions, my most successful composition was 2 kclo3 1 sulfur 1 german pyro aluminum powder.
I mixed the 2 and put it in a small cardboard box ( about 2 inches wide 1 inch in height ) and put a small metal plate in the back, than taped it all up.
I shot it with a standard .22lr and recieved a loud report and decent explosion much like a small salute.
Using aluminum powder in large amounts can get pricey, could just a mix of kclo3 and sulfur be used?
Would the hole amount of kclo3/sulfur composition detonate from the impact of a standard .22lr bullet?
