If a person was foolish enough to take a revolver and saw the barrel off
what would the trajectory path be like.

Assume for example a .22, 45, and 44 magnum load.

Ridiculous.

It would spit the bullet somewhere in the way the muzzle is pointing, tough snub nose and similar revolvers are not known for their accuracy.

If the idea is just to use the gun as a CQB selfdefence weapon on targets less than 5 meters away, I see no problem, if the hellish muzzle flash is not counted.

Edit:

Oh, he got banned, oh well.

Uh, actually, I have heard that a barrel-less revolver was a favorite assassination weapon of the Boston mob. Obviously, it was used for close range work...

Hmm, it could work. The cylinder has no rifling and the brass is held in the cylinder.
So no brass and no rifling marks on the bullet.
So the coppers would have fun time trying to trace the bullet :)
Sure it should work, but only on close range like Enkidu said.
