If you are interested in real world developments, and how historical patterns keep re-occurring, the story of the French railway sabotuers arrested this week (11-13 November) is a classic story of political intrigue, direct action, and police investigation and persistent surviellence. This is a True Crime story of another era come to life, something that might have come from the 1930s or the 1950s -- but it is today.

There are lots of articles on this, in French.... English language news is focused on our recent Presidential election and post-election cabinet selections. If you take the time to look them in up Google, and translate the pages, the stories can be glued together and read like a real life espionage thriller. The early press releases to the most recent give the information on the case as it developed.
