View Full Version : Selling my tools/equipment

Well, it had to happen sometime. . .I'm moving into an apartment too small for all my tools. :) So I'm offering up my entire stock of tools, books and equipment for sale. I'd like to do it all, as one package, and I think the buyer would be very satisfied. However, since there's so much of it, it would be rather expensive, too. So here's what I'm proposing. . .for a month, until May 10th, I'm going to offer up this whole lot listed below for $1500 or the best offer. The books and videos alone are worth several hundred on the market, and the key machine was $400 when I bought it new last year. So it really is a bargain. If after a month no one's picked it all up, I'll sell it off in bits and pieces on a first come, first serve basis to whoever's interested. Fair? Here's the list:

I guess the rule about flaming is being ignored. . .so anyways, I've run into this on every unusual board I've ever posted on, no big surprise. I'm completely serious about wanting to sell my tools, and as for as the information (books, videos, my training) goes, it's for informational purposes only, and what the buyer does with it is their own responsibility. I do not encourage illegal activity of any kind. I legally declare that I am not associated with any kind of law enforcement or government agency, and honestly, where the heck else am I supposed to go with my equipment? E-bay? So now can the paranoids please sit down, and let people with serious questions or interests reply?

We usually ban people who just show up here and start offering to sell things, regardless of the nature of the items. We've had offers of police DTT (Data Transmission Terminals), stolen laptops, kiddie-porn, get rich quik, et al. We come here to get away from the noise of pop-up ads and SPAM.

We're not e-bay, thrift store, garage sale, or anything else of that nature.

And we have ever reason to be paranoid considering the nature of the subject matter we deal with and the increasingly draconian nature of law enforcement since 9/11.

Since you don't seem like an idiot, I'm not going to ban you.

HOWEVER, I will be locking this thread up. Anyone who want's to contact you about your stuff can do so by e-mail, thus freeing us of the onus of conspiracy to commit.

If you post any further "for sale" ads, you're gone.

Other than that, feel free to continue on here at the Forum.

PS: People who've been here for years are cut some slack on the "for sale" thing. You're NOT one of them.
