A while back I came across this page: Fully Automatic . In the document, the author calls himself "~Lowry". The page was just uploaded by some one else, therefore I cannot find the rest of the site, (if there is one) or any other of the related pages. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other pages made by this "Lowry". Help would be greatly appreciated.

Lowry started the forum. I believe that site used to contain the makeshift arsenal. The guestbook redirects to the old bravenet geustbook. I looked through the guestbook and i noticed that i wrote something in there a long time ago.

I just did a quick websearch for "Bignutsami", the person claiming responsibilty for uploading the 40mm plans. I got a few results mostly from different boards.

I noticed he posts at xinventions so i did a search by username at xinventions and i looked around a bit. i found this thread:

http://pub9.ezboard.com/fxinventionspneumaticcannons.showMessage?topicID=1 244.topic

The thread was started about 3 months ago so full auto plans arent that recent. I wonder if he has any contact with lowry or knows what happened to him.

Thanks for your help. As you can tell I'm fairly new here, so I didn't know who Lowry was. Do you know why he stopped posting. Would any of his articles be on the FTP?

HAHA! looks like the K3\/\/L Board (IE: BOMBSHOCK) Has blown up!

quote:
Hello everyone.
There has been a major catastrophie! basically everything concerning the forums has been lost. i managed to import a few of the accounts from the old forums into these ones again, but there is still about 9000 registrations that have been lost also (shudder) all the posts have been lost. I am extremely sorry everyone. It was out of my control and could not have happened at a worse time. Just as the forums were re-building after the recent upgrade, this bullshit has fuckin happened. I am really fucked off and I know a lot of people out there will be too. I am very sorry.
I know that bombshock forums will survive and all you people that enjoy posting here will continue too. thanks in advance for everyones support.
So Xpl0siv, What tha fuck happened?!
Well it is a really fuckin shit story. I host this website on a virtual server. The host is actually really great and are extremely helpful. I used to have two accounts there, one for this website and one for another. Anyway, The other account had a mysql database associated with it, (they are free with the account at no extra cost, but take about a day or so to be setup) Anyway in my haste to get bombshock up and running i used the mysql account that was associated with the other account for the bombshock forums, not realising that it would be deleted when i cancelled my other webhosting account. When i deleted my webhosting account, the mysql databse was deleted as well, which included all the data powering the forums
so now i have a mysql database "associated" with this account, so this fuckup won't happen again.
Once again sorry to everyone who comes here and especially thoses people that had contributed so much valuable information.
On the brighter side, I have created a set of guidelines and rules for new members, those that frequent here will be familiar with how these forums work. Those that are new, it is a good idear to read through them.

Some of the best stupid posts were:
"where do I buy AP?"
"where can I get C4?"
"where can I get RDX?"
"Can I use a firecracker to set off HE?"
"can I use a cratermaker to set off ANFO?"
"2 parts, 1 part: what does that mean?"

and so on....

umm.. if this is aimed at me i dont know 'lowry' .. sorry.

I just pulled the auto-cannon page out of a .zip i downloaded from a site which dissappeared.

If i was sent an e-mail, it likely got swamped with spam and I never saw it, sorry.

This is a long shot...

If anyone (hopefully Bignutsami) can get the URL of the site you donwloaded the .zip from, then you may be able to use the WayBack machine to try and find the site that disappeared.
Www.waybackmachine.org has sites all the way back from 1996, they say it is comprehensive but I haven't tested it.

Lowry lived a couple blocks from me, but we weren't really friends as such, he was a bit older then me.

Anyhow, I think he moved a few years ago, since I havnt seen him nor his car parked for a long time.

I never saw the cannon mentioned in the first post though, so maybe he is back to doing stuff where-ever he is, just out of gaol probably, he had no qualms about shaking every house in the neighbourhood. If he wanted to be here, im sure he knows where this place is.
